About Graceful

Our Story

I’m Liz-  a mum, a funeral director, a celebrant, and someone who has learned first‑hand how grief reshapes a life. My work is guided by a simple belief: no one should have to navigate loss without compassion, clarity, and community around them.

Before founding Graceful, I spent many years working in corporate fundraising, where I developed a deep understanding of employee wellbeing, organisational culture, and the power of mutually beneficial partnerships. That experience now sits at the heart of my bereavement work with organisations, helping them support their people more thoughtfully while also advancing my wider mission to destigmatise grief and promote death positivity.

Alongside this, my humanistic counselling training and my work within the funeral industry give me a grounded understanding of both the emotional landscape of grief and the practical realities that surround it. Graceful Bereavement Support grew from that blend of lived experience, professional training, and a commitment to making conversations about death more open, honest, and human.

Today, I support families, groups, and organisations with warmth, steadiness, and a belief that when we meet grief with compassion, we create healthier people, healthier workplaces, and healthier communities.
